Dress for the slide not for the ride. Something every motorcycle has listened. That's easy if you are just going to ride for fun. But what if you go to work on your bike, you are running some errands or you just want to look great and be safe? Well then you have to:
A) Bring some extra clothes with you.
B) Sacrifice safety
C) Sacrifice looks
Not anymore, Kind of. At least you'll be covered in terms of footwear.
Being the motorcyclist enthusiasts that we are and having leathers and footwear machinery at our disposal, it was a no brainer to make our own boots. I wanted something that didn't exist at the time. A great looking, protective, water resistant, comfortable motorcycle boot for an affordable price.
This is the pinnacle of mastery for our craftsmen. The leather is thick, tough and beautiful Buccaneer from Horween. It's hard to work with this leather, definitely not your supple calf by any means. But the extra work is really worth it, no other leather would be so perfect for the endeavor, it is water resistant, it is sexy as hell and if I ever fall from the bike this is the leather I want protecting my feet. But that's just the beginning, we also added a steel cap toe and TPU pads in the ankle area. Finally, these are not goodyear welted boots, we went the extra mile to ensure maximum water resistance by making these Storm welted, which is a more elaborate version of the Goodyear welt that'll keep water out of your boots more effectively.
I ride a VFR800 and KTM 690 Enduro and these boots work great with both. All the seams are well done, the leather is Horween Buccaneer and is the highest quality. I'd definitely recommend these for commuter motorcycle boots or even just a good all round boot!
