    Great Boot for the Price

Posted by Jay on 6th Nov 2015

This will be both a boot and customer service review.

These boots are the second pair of footwear I have order form John Doe Shoes. Though there had been a shipping mishap regarding the condition of the boots, I delivered my feedback using the supplied link from my shipping-confirmation email and all was resolved. Not sure of the person who had replied to my message, though the message briefly stated that the issue would be resolved with a focus on getting a freshly made pair of boots made and exchanged free of charge.
The second pair of boots were received in fantastic condition and look great. They fit true to size for my 11.5 size feet, though mileage-may-vary regarding the height of one’s instep, but that is to be expected in my case.

    Stunning craftsmanship

The boots are streamlined, well made. I love all the double stitching they use. Adds the durable reputation that John Doe sports about their shoes. You can wear these shoes with a suit or jeans and you will look and feel like a million bucks. Only issue is getting your package from UPS. They like to hold and inspect all packages from Mexico, so if you live in Canada like I do, expect a bit of a wait. Other than that, I enjoy all the products Ive bought from them and I want more.

    Highly recommended

I have been seeking a quality leather chukka for some time and took a chance on these. They are very comfortable, easy to break in, and look great with jeans or slacks. I walk a lot and mostly wear sneakers and was worried these might be too stiff and bulky but they are trim and supple and feel good on the pavement. They came just in time for the fall weather.
