Our Rider motorcycle boots have been so successful, that even guys who don’t own a motorcycle wanted boots that looked like that. So we stripped the Rider boots from all the motorcycling features and the Hartford boot was born.
I really like the design and the leather is of good quality. They are also very comfortable. However, after only a week the stitching on the uppers as well as for the inside lining starting coming off and I had to pay a cobbler to restitch part of the shoes... I really wanted to believe in your promise, but this problem makes me rethink whether I will do business with you again, which is a real shame.
These are my third pair of John Doe shoes and the craftsmanship continues to improve. First pair were, “ok for the money” and these are really nice for the full stop. Very happy with the leather they fit just exactly like my shoes and the rubber sole is just what I was looking for in rainy Oregon. Bonus the rubber is more flexible than leather so it feels they will break in more quickly too.
